In an exciting first for AMSOIL Championship Off-Road, the finale headed to the West Coast, ending at the infamous Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA, on Sep 26th & 27th. Wilwood took a short trip out from its Camarillo, CA headquarters for the last race of the season with a few technical staff to assist racers with any braking issues that may arise, along with a videographer/photographer capturing great content and imagery from the event.
The Western region location was able to host a mixture of series regulars and West Coast-based drivers enthusiastic about performing for fans at their local track. Glen Helen has a reputation as a leading off-road venue for everything from PRO4 to PRO STOCK SXS and never disappoints with the excitement meter on extreme with long sweeping turns, huge climbs, and dangerous descents.
Champ Off-Road, utilizing Glen Helen Raceway each year for the “West Coast” finale, is set to become a historic event for fans and teams alike. With a scenic mountain backdrop and rough terrain, the SoCal event is sure to end the season on a high note, bringing the off-road community together from coast to coast.
