As we do every year at the end of January, Wilwood headed for the Grand National Roadster Show (76th Annual), infamous for being one of the largest and most prestigious street rod & custom car shows in the world. The GNRS 2026 was held from January 30 to February 1, 2026, at the Pomona Fairplex in California, featuring over 500+ top notch hand-picked show vehicles inside the Fairplex buildings competing for awards, along with the outdoor Grand Daddy Drive-In, in its 20th year, hosting 800+ vehicles ranging from classic hot rods to ol’ school & modern customs. GNRS is where two of the most sought after awards in the industry are handed out, including America’s Most Beautiful Roadster (AMBR) presented annually to recognize the best roadster in-show and the Al Slonaker Memorial that was established in 1974 to honor the show's founders, and is considered one of the top awards in hot rodding, recognizing exceptional craftsmanship and creativity in street rods, customs, and trucks.

The 2026 AMBR award was proudly won this year by Nicole Baird with a 1932 Ford built by Squeeg's Kustoms, and the Al Slonaker Memorial was awarded to Dennis Troggio for his 1955 VW Karmann Ghia. Not only was Wilwood Disc Brakes there to exhibit products and help folks with brake tech questions attending the show, but we also had photographers and videographers gathering great content for social media and other marketing platforms.
