November 4th – 7th, 2025
The 2025 SEMA Show once again did not disappoint the Wilwood Disc Brakes crew after four epic days in Las Vegas, NV. The “ultimate trade show” of the automobile aftermarket attracted over 153,000 attendees from 140 countries, with roughly 2,300 exhibitors (including 500 first-time exhibitors) and had over 2,500 media members roaming the aisles. Wilwood’s display booth was located up front in the Central Hall, with a great location for all to view products off a main aisle and talk with sales/tech staff all week long. Wilwood was lucky enough to have a steady stream of who’s who from the industry, with notable racers, drivers, celebrities, content creators, and influencers from around the world wanting to know more about the Wilwood braking products they trust and to say hi.
DRIVERS, INFLUENCERS, CELEBRITY VISITS...

The release of New Products is part of what SEMA is all about, with manufacturers showing off the latest and greatest to the industry. Wilwood once again brought its A game with multiple kits, along with individual new parts on display in the prominent area sought out by the media, and was excited to receive Runner up for New Products in the Street Rod & Custom Car Product category with their 2” Aluminum Drop Spindle
with a sealed wheel bearing and ABS capabilities. Others on display in the New Products section included the UTV Can Am Mav R 6-lug disc brake kit, Tundra AERO6-DM kit, C10 TX6R Big Brake kit, and the AERO6 & FNSL6R Brake kits for Nissan Skyline GT-R R32, R33, R34, and 240SX S13 & S14.
Featured cars and trucks are also what SEMA is known for, and in 2025, there were plenty of Wilwood Disc Brake-clad vehicles receiving favorable attention over the course of the show. Many of those would include winners and entrants of the Battle of the Builders competition, with Troy Trepanier's 1936 Ford Roadster taking the overall prize. Troy Trepanier of Rad Rides presented a 1936 Ford Roadster and hand-built every part of the car, from the frame to the convertible top. It runs a 312-cubic-inch Ford Y-block with a McCollough supercharger, modern electronic fuel injection, and Wilwood brakes hidden behind Johnson’s Hot Rod’s Kinmont-style brake drums.
The Battle of the Builders - Young Guns winner was Thomas Dickerson and his '67 Chevrolet C10. Thomas Dickerson built his custom C10 truck from scratch, fabricating everything from the chassis to the interior. It features flush glass, custom headlights, and, of course, Wilwood’s Big Brake kit for C10s.
SEMA’s Best Engineered award for 2025 went to Kuhnhausen Metal Concepts (KMC) and premier builder Kyle Kuhnhausen’s “Serious66,” a 1966 Corvette on an Art Morrison IRS chassis and powered by an LT4 direct-injection engine mated to a ZF8HP-70 transmission. It features Wilwood’s new 2” Aluminum drop spindle and big brake kit, JRI shocks, Forgeline center-lock wheels, Michelin tires, and a full custom BUX leather interior finished in Le Mans Blue.
Other high-end builds with Wilwood Disc Brakes that stood out to the crowd were the Bisimoto Porsche 935 K3 Twin Turbo displayed in the Toyo Tread pass and the Ford GT built by Throtl, partnering with WD-40, and proudly on display in the WD-40 booth in Central Hall- both drawing huge viewing crowds the entire week!
